"LongbowMkII" (longbowmkii)

All uniquely mildly modified model Ts (and one A) It’s fascinating how familiar yet alien they are. You an definitely see how they pushed out millions of these things. Simple as a rock (in the best ways). Plus how insane they must be for driving them on modern roads. Even if they only take them up to ~35...
They seemed to have a tight community which is always a cool thing to see.
Yet another car to put on the bucket list and start hoarding parts for.
Pictures probably won’t load. I’ll try again in the comments.

You can probably get over 50 in a speedster. If you have the guts to.

I have a couple of buddies with tuned 4 cylinder A’s who run an 1/8 mile event locally, it looks a bit spooky by the end of the strip.

Yeah, those Ts don’t have self centering steering, if you hit a bump you better hold on tight...

The steering linkage is the best part. Turning right rotates a small arm at the end of the shaft which pulls a rod from right to left which pulls the inside of the right wheel towards the center. There is a different rod from the inside of the right wheel to the inside of the left wheel to tie them together so they both turn.
Simple like a rock. I can see how so many legendary mechanics and hot rodders got their start rebuilding these.
